Share the gLOVEs

This year ASHT is partnering with Believe It Foundation for our Share the gLOVES drive. Believe It Foundation has an adaptive bike program in schools throughout San Antonio and the surrounding area. They are currently in 14 school districts serving 203 schools(with a waiting list.) They need bike gloves to assist the kids with gripping and steering of their bikes. You can order gloves through our Amazon Wish List or by making a donation when you register for ASHT 2023 Annual Meeting. Gloves ordered by September 13 can be shipped directly to the ASHT office. The representatives from Believe It Foundation will be onsite Saturday, September 30, to accept our donation along with your contributions!

If you have already registered and would like to make a donation to the Share the gLOVEs drive, go to ASHT.com, click on the 'Donate' button, then click on the 'Make a Contribution' button and select the Vision Fund. Donations made between now the end of the conference will be given to the Share the gLOVEs drive.

We would also like to introduce you to Helping Hands Education Fund.  This organization was started almost a decade ago by Dr. David P. Green. The Helping Hands Fund was created to empower people to help themselves through education. The primary recipients of these funds are those individuals experiencing homelessness who are enrolled in programs at San Antonio Metropolitan Ministries (SAMM) or Haven for Hope, also in San Antonio, Texas.  Dr. David P. Green will be our plenary speaker on Friday, September 29. Click this link to learn more about Helping Hands Education Fund and to donate!

Thank you for your generosity and support!
