When is the ASHT Annual Meeting?

ASHT's 46th Annual Meeting will take place on September 28 - October 1, 2023 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, TX, USA.


Can I earn CEUs at the Annual Meeting? 

The ASHT 2023 Annual Meeting will provide attendees the opportunity to earn CE credits. Get the full details on our Accreditation page.


How long do I have to retrieve my CE Certificate? 

All attendees (virtual and in-person) will need to retrieve their 2023 continuing education certificate by January 31, 2024.

Please note: All attendees will have on-demand access to meeting content through September 1, 2024, but following the January 2024 CE deadline, this content will be for viewing pleasure only.


Will ASHT provide a virtual component?

Yes, ASHT will once again offer a virtual registration for the Annual Meeting. 

During the conference, virtual attendees will have access to the e-Posters and online exhibit hall. Recorded plenary sessions will be posted daily. (Please see schedule here.) Recorded concurrent sessions and Pre-Conference Institutes will be available to virtual attendees on the virtual platform by October 16, 2023. ​There will be no livestreamed sessions. Virtual registration may be purchased until December 31, 2023.

What are Pre-Conference Institutes? 

ASHT offers Pre-Conference Institutes ("Pre-Cons") prior to the official start of the Annual Meeting. These educational sessions offer intense hands-on learning highlighting current hand and upper extremity topics. These sessions are capped (on-site), ticketed and require pre-registration. Pre-Conference Institutes can be purchased by in-person and virtual attendees. All attendees may purchase one (four-hour) Pre-Conference Institute maximum.

How do I access my Pre-Cons?

  • In-person attendees will participate live on site
  • Virtual attendees can view their purchased Pre-Conference Institutes on the conference platform following the meeting. 
  • All Pre-Conference Institutes registrants will have access to their purchased sessions on the conference platform following the meeting.

Will speakers and moderators be in person?

Yes! All ASHT speakers and moderators will present and moderate in person in San Antonio, TX.


What are the health & safety protocols for in-person attendees in San Antonio, TX?

The health and safety of all ASHT participants and staff, along with their family members, coworkers and patients continue to remain our top priority and we’d like to thank you for your support as we plan our meeting.
