Dr. Probert has been a Certified Hand Therapist for over 20 years. She currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Operations Excellence of Upstream Rehabilitation, the largest pure-play provider of outpatient physical and occupational therapy in the nation. She earned her occupational therapy degree from the Medical College of Georgia, post grad doctorate from the University of Saint Augustine, and business analytics certification from Harvard University in 2021. She is a long-time adjunct faculty member of Brenau University and is passionate about creating joyful, productive, and meaningful work environments. Summary of my speech: In 30 short minutes, Embracing Resiliency will demonstrate that we should not just endure difficulties and expect to emerge as more resilient, but how we should prepare for every situation proactively and intentionally plan on becoming stronger because of challenges we endure. We will briefly unpack how our skills as treating therapists have uniquely prepared us to handle every situation we encounter, whether we are facing a frustrating diagnosis or a complex business quagmire.
