Caroline W. Stegink-Jansen, PT, PhD, CHT, University of Texas Medical Branch, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation, Galveston, TX.
Caroline W. Stegink-Jansen, PT, PhD, CHT received her PT degree in the Netherlands and her PhD from the Texas Woman’s University in Houston, TX. She is adjunct associate professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation (DOSR) at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), Galveston, TX. She has and continues to publish scholarly work in refereed journals,  regarding aspects important for hand therapy i.e.: measurement, systematic reviews, lateral elbow pain and societal issues such as geographic access to hand therapists across the United States. She has presented to national and international audiences. She was honored with the Natalie Barr Lectureship from the ASHT in 2015. Currently, she serves at the UTMB as member of the research committee of the DOSR. She serves as Board member of the American Hand Therapy Foundation.
