Alison Taylor, OTR/L, CHT, CKTI, NDTc

I have 32 year as a proud OT, and 26 years in hand therapy. I obtained my CHT in 1996, and became a Kinesio Instructor in 2011. In 1994, I completed my NDT certification up to advanced upper extremity,
I currently work at Baylor Scott and White Institute of Rehab at the STAR in Frisco, Texas, and am very proud to say that this is a combined venture with the Dallas Cowboys organization. I love representing the Cowboys "STAR" everyday and collaborating with the best physical therapists in sports.
My specialties are hands, sports, pain, and elbows. I address pain in any part of the body, and am currently working on research algorithms for CRPS and Epicondylitis.
Teaching is my number one passion, and I been honored to present my "Treating Without Pain"  lecture in Ireland, France, Holland and in the future Italy, Spain and the Middle East. I currently teach this class virtually and throughout the USA.
I have presented at 6 ASHT conferences, the Asia Pacific Hand Conference in Australia 2020 as well as the International Hand Conference in London in 2022
I actively present at multiple state OT/CHT chapters, hand special interest groups as well at OT programs at LSU and TWU.

My purpose is to help educate as many hand therapists, OTs and PTs in concepts related to my techniques and concepts using to Kinesiotaping, cupping, IASTM, "wedges" and another treatment ideas that will help provide superior outcomes for our patients.
