Kathy Brou has Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of MadisonWisconsin and has been practicing Hand Therapy since 1983. She became a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists in 1998 and passed the Certification Hand Exam in 1991. Kathy has been practicing Hand Therapy at Reconstructive Orthopedic Center for 23 years and work closely with three hand and upper extremity surgeons in an outpatient center providing specialized hand therapy techniques and orthosis fabrications. She has mentored Field work I and II students throughout her career. Kathy has presented at various Hand therapy conferences both nationally and internationally. Her leisure activities involve traveling to Europe with her husband, who is a hand therapist from Germany.
